Beginners luck in football picks for the championship league

Even if I am a fan of the English Premier league, I somehow find it more exciting to watch eveytime it comes around, the Champions league as it seems to me to be a higher caliber tournament as we get to see champions from all over Europe participating in this. I did not use to watch this until one time my friends and I who love football came up to me and told me we would be wagering for different teams in the upcoming champions league, where England’s representative would be Manchester United and from that point on, I started to learn all about Football picks and I trained myself to be analytical of teams and their strengths, and not relying on fame or which looks more good out there. I practiced my predictions in this site called www.hunchers.com and believe me, it was a good training ground as in here I got to see statistics and read up on other hunchers opinions regarding teams and so in a way I learned more about teams this way than by watching them on tv. And after getting more confidence in trying to predict outcomes, I finally came out with my team then and I chose Barcelona, which came as a shock to my friends as it turns out they were the eventual champions. Talk about beginners luck in football picks right? But I really got lucky in this one and hope it carries this time too when my friends and I bet again.
